End of School Year Reflection Activity
It is about time you wrap your school year. This year in particular was a challenging one. Teachers as well as students got drained. It is extremely important to plan for some fun, interactive, and memorable end of year activities.
Personally, as a teacher of high school students, I chose to use a whole-class reflection activity. This way students could share their own experiences and relate to one another. It was a fun way to strengthen the connections among students and allow them to express themselves freely. My students and I enjoyed a good laugh and left home with a fun heartwarming memory.
What I loved about my Activity
💻 It is digital (shared on a screen) so no need to print!
💻 It can be implemented in a physical classroom or shared over a digital platform.
💻 It includes 35 questions, so all students (in typical classroom sizes) would get to answer at least one.
💻 It is interactive. A students chooses a number and get a random question which adds a fun element.
💻 It is written in a simple language making it useful for a variety of grade levels (upper elementary and beyond!)
💻 There are various questions:
💬 about funny incidents
💬 about goals and achievements
💬 about challenges and lessons learnt
💬 about weaknesses and strengths
💬 and many others...
